Taming the Trouser Snake—A Man’s Guide to Relationships, Romance, Sex and More by Rolando Gomez (which I edited) is a serious guide to help men better understand women and forge better relationships with them. Rolando’s book certainly has humorous passages here and there, but Mark Gungor has made a career of using standup comedy to explain relationships. Here is a clip from his “The Tale of Two Brains” lecture, which hilariously explores the differences between men’s brains and women’s brains.
“The Tale of Two Brains” is one part of a weekend long marriage seminar that Mr. Gungor developed and presents all over the country. He is an ordained Christian minister and lead Pastor at the Celebration Church in Wisconsin. As far as I can tell, this ministry is not associated with any specific Christian denomination. For anyone who thinks listening to a Pastor can only be dull and boring, just check out the above clip. He is very serious about helping married couples, but his methods are hilarious.
